How it works
You send two photos: one from above, one from the side. An AI model (Claude, by Anthropic) looks for the two things vets check by eye, a waist from above and a tummy tuck from the side, and places your pet on the 9-point body condition scale vets use. If you give a weight, we work out a goal weight and a date at a slow, safe pace (1% of body weight a week for dogs, 0.75% for cats).
It's for fun and it can be wrong, especially with thick coats, muscular breeds, or photos taken at an angle. It is not vet advice. Talk to your vet before you change your pet's diet.
Privacy
We keep your photos for 90 days so we can check how accurate the scores are, then delete them. We keep your email to send your card and one weigh-in reminder on day 14, plus any One Cal Club news if you join the waitlist. Every email has an unsubscribe link. We don't sell your data. We use PostHog to count page visits and button taps.
